EK Books exists to create children’s books with heart on issues that matter. We need a highly organized self-starting individual to help manage our growing community and keep our publishing schedule moving forward.
Working part-time, from home, at your own schedule, your duties will include:
- Helping to shepherd books through the editorial and development process, coordinating with authors, illustrators, designers, and production to ensure schedules are upheld
- Playing a role in selecting new projects for EK Books to take on, including reading manuscripts, conducting market research, and engaging in discussions with authors
- Helping to support Children’s Publishing Academy programs, providing support to our students, and assisting in the smooth operation of our activities and events
We are a global company and invite candidates from around the world. We currently have team members in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, and North America, and invite candidates from these regions as well as elsewhere.
