Aneta Cruz was born behind the Iron Curtain in Czechoslovakia, and found liberation through books. After moving to the United States, she earned a BA in English Literature, an MFA in Creative Writing, and an Early Childhood Special Education Credential. She is a special education preschool teacher, teaching Autistic children and those with speech/language impairment. When not teaching her class how to love books (among many other things), she reads and writes them herself, and has previously published Juan Has the Jitters and Astronaut Training.
Anke Noack is an award-winning children’s illustrator and author. A former architect and game designer, Anke wrote and illustrated A Busy Day in Wimmeltown. When she’s not travelling the world with her three kids in tow, she’s creating colourful worlds and sharing her love for ‘Wimmelbooks’ and Franco-Belgian comics with little (and not so little) people.
